Paraïso (Paradise) Reef
Paraïso reef consists of two long ridges of coral running end-to-end parallel to shore and surrounded by sand, at depths of about 35ft to 45ft (11m to 14m). Its fairly shallow water makes it a great option for a 3rd dive of the day.
This entire reef has coral formations relatively low in profile, and bounds with life where angel fish and other snapper or huge groupers are patrolling while the barracudas hang still, watching some rays and morays hunting.
Hundreds of meters long, we usually cover the two section of Paraïso in about an hour, depending on the current strength.
Because of its shallow depth, it is an appropriate dive site for either a first experience, a third dive of the day, or looking for macro tiny marine life for photographer.
It is also a great option for your night dives where lobsters, crabs, octopuses and other eels are getting in the game.
